Below is a screen shot of our final printed artefact for a poster advertisement. Since HMV is a large and well known company which has a huge amount of music stores around the country and various venues where bands play.
We wanted to make our poster look as realistic as possible, so we chose a city skyline background similar to that which HMV have used before. However, we manipulated the colours and edited it to give it a unique and individual look. We displayed the album cover on it with a 3D effect to make it look as if it is literally jumping off the poster.
We added two legitimate reviews from NME and iTunes about the actual Bombay Bicycle Club album to make it seem more realistic.
We also added a price and release time (out now) as this is required to be on real HMV posters.
